Intro

This blog post is going to consist of my experience and my opinion on the Adobe Max 2021 Create together stream. Straight off the bat I'd like to say overall, I'm relatively excited and disappointed on this conference. they show off a lot of new and interesting collaborative tools and AI tools that will speed up peoples work process in a very interesting and intuitive way. but Adobe has still failed to realize that the biggest problem with their software's its self. Adobe software's notorious for crashing and running badly. Apartment example that I use is Adobe premiere pro and after effects these two programs constantly crash when working between one another I work on a high-end device and run into frequent problems. so, it is a little disappointing that they have not addressed their optimization as it's what I believe to be there Achilles's heel.

Adobe creative cloud

When they start to talk about the Adobe Creative Cloud, they defined their mission statement of the product. To enable connected creativity, unleash creative potential and empower creative careers! Their mission statements! To create a creative cloud where everything is at your fingertips and the collaboration is easy and intuitive. My question is how they intend to live up to these expectations. Well, they talk about a few new tools.

Tools

They say they're going to incorporate Frame.io a workflow program making it “easy to upload and download sophisticated folder structures and large files” (- From frame.ioI've used this program and do agree it could definitely speed up a workflow but why not use the problem Adobe never mentioned how exactly they're incorporating this into their new systems. it's a little concerning why so little was mentioned on this topic.

Adobe Sensei is a program and artificial intelligence system that allows for many shortcuts to be taken in premiere pro, after effects and Photoshop.

The talk goes into detail about the new organization system for Adobe Creative Cloud in terms of storing and sharing assets. This piques my interest because this makes it incredibly easy for users to edit existing project libraries. this will create a far more effective platform for collaborative works, making it easier to manage and work through.

Transcribe

The biggest breakthrough of this entire stream to me at least was the Adobe transcript function for premiere pro. Using an AI program, it analyzes the audio patterns of speech in your Adobe timeline and gives you a script from each individual speaking from the script you can create captions that you can apply your pre may defects to the captions.

My current occupation is a video editor and 50% of my time is spent subtitling content. personally, this is an amazing breakthrough because all I need to do is make a preset for the animation and style of font I want for a video and apply it then I do tweaks to each subtitle and I'm done instead of having to go through and type out every single word said in the entire video.

thinking about the time I could save using this program open doors refine my talents in other areas and I think the Adobe team really smashed at this time.

Vectorize

One feature that really caught my eye was vectorize. this feature is for Adobe illustrator, it allows you could take an image of a pattern and to vectorize it to turn the pattern immediately into a vector and pattern in your program. When I saw this, it really reminded me of an Adobe app that you can get on your phone called Adobe capture. Adobe capture allows you to take an image and to vectorize the image itself into a super simplified portrait.

Hiroshi Lockheimer

Hoshi Lockheimer is a speaker who came in from Google, Adobe announced that they're going to be running Photoshop through the Google Chrome browser. Now at first glance this made me quite excited, and realism steeped in. Row she really did not give any information on the program itself other than the fact that it's important and possible. This is immensely disappointing; OB software is never easy to run to warn programs like premiere pro and after affects you have to have a high-end device unlike its competitors that have the same tools and are easier to run such as Davinci Resolve. They gave us no information about how it could run on Chrome a browser thought eats up ram in with. I honestly just can't see it happening in the same way as a desktop app.

Communication

Something caught my interest was there creative cloud canvases which is the exact same as Miro a program that already exists. Well, it would seem there is a reason why. creative cloud canvases allow you to integrate with programs like Photoshop illustrator and Lightroom. they allow you to leave notes and indicators to where those notes apply so that you might make comment about a certain aspect of a picture that you don't like and want removed. very intuitive and genuinely a great outcome for this product.

conclusion

Overall it was a very interesting thing to watch. I know I had some harsh opinions on Adobe in general but this is just me expressing my frustrations with what I thought needed to be covered this year. please let me know what you think if you're reading this blog and if you are thank you for reading it.
