Intro 

In this document I shall summarize what the objective of this website is, why it's important, how I intend to create it and reflect on a peer's work. 

 

Section A - What 

 

For My submission for this content management systems assignment, I'm going to be creating a review website. This website Will be listing anime (a style of Japanese film) series. This is due to the fact that we were suggested a review site. This category of media is vast and relatively unknown, by a mainstream public. This site shall allow its audience to leave a rank of a show that they've watched if it is listed, I believe a personal comment. (I'll also be leaving my own personal comment)

Section B – Why 


main reason I decided on the anime review site, was because it’s a topic I enjoy on a personal level and believe that it shall get a positive reception from the other students. There's also a very wide range of content to work with and a lot of management systems opportunities to explore. This site will be a great Portfolio opportunity so by taking on a subject that’s a little odd it might help catch a recruiter's eye. The review format will also give me a chance to improve my academic writing. This is great as an individual with dyslexia I'll take any opportunity to develop the skills on lacking. I also have an account on an anime website where I have rated an immense catalogue of the shows I've watched over the years. This has given me a wide catalog and experience to work with. The site which I have linked in this part of the document is made using CSS and HTML. this in itself is a review site just not using the tools I intend for this project.

Section C – How 

 

The service I've decided to go with from my review site is WordPress. We've been working with WordPress throughout the year so I feel as only right that I use it for this project as well. that's not the only reason I've decided on it. WordPress has an immense library of plug-ins, themes and loads of other tutorial and help content. It will start the small selection of shows that are widely popular as these shows will get more traction than others.The database for the website will be filled out by its viewers submissions. when the website launches, I will fill out my own reviews in order to display the site's capabilities.

  Lab Upload Three   Joseph Dolan   B00130057     Lab 3 – SQL EXERCISES    For lab 3 we learned how to  complete  a set of  exercises to develop our understanding of SQL.     Create a database   Create tables using SQL statements   Insert data into the table using SQL   Perform Simple SQL queries   Update tables    Drop the table         Note- Part way through this lab I Ran into some problems but used other  materials  to finish blog.     Set up   To start  i  simply launched  Laragan . Lab Two - SQL Start up part 2

    Create and Relate Tables     Step 1   This lab we're learning how to create and relate tables so to start off straight off the bat I need to create a single table, editorial video the lecturer uses movie directors and movies as his criteria for this list or management system.
